My journey of crafting healthy skin care began in 1991 when I became a massage therapist and earned an aromatherapy certification. I was greatly inspired by the healing benefits of pure essential oils, so I began using them daily on myself, and for making blends for clients. When I opened my day spa in 1995, I further witnessed the beauty benefits for skin by blending oils, lotions, body polishes and natural perfumes, customizing each blend to the needs of every individual.
Years later, my knowledge of essential oils became crucial to my own healing process after having a laser treatment on a freckle that left my skin burned, and ultimately the damaged skin turned into melanoma. 4 surgeries later, I was left with a 3" scar down my face. I turned to essential oils for my recovery. Through patience and daily application of specific oils and other botanicals, I was able to soften and lighten my scar. My skin became noticeably firmer in the process, and people remarked that they didn't see my scar anymore. That's when I knew I needed to introduce these to the world, and Phytology by Aubrey was born!
Over the course of several years, I have been able to repair, restore, and renew my skin at the deepest level, bringing about noticeable results while remaining cancer free.
